IPT for Teams is a simple add-on to Office 365 that unifies Microsoft Teams with the IP Telecom Hosted phone system allowing making and receiving calls on any device using the Microsoft Teams App via your business phone system.  What's the procedure to add IPT for Teams to my phone system? Adding IPT for Teams is a simple, straightforward process. The first step is to contact IP Telecom using the form below or call us on 21 300 8232.   We'll talk through your set up, advise on the best fit and once all relevant Microsoft licences are in place and once we have all relevant information (extension numbers etc.) we can have you set up in a matter of hours. Do I need special hardware for Microsoft Teams calling with IPT for Teams? No. One of the great benefits of IPT for Teams is that you can utilise laptops, smartphones and certain existing IP phones for Teams based calling through our platform. We have always believed in vendor neutrality and repurposing of existing tech where possible and our solutions are designed around that. How are calls charged? Calls will be charged at the rate you pay within your plan and as with all IP Telecom Hosted Phone packages all Internal company calls and internal South Africa Landline calls are included in your plan.
